The discussion covered a number of topics including changes in demand for customers in different industries, business continuity planning, and the application of technology to mobilize the workforce.
Nearly 40 percent of Ruan’s business is in the food and grocery industry, a sector that experienced a surge in demand as most states issued stay-at-home orders throughout the spring. Meanwhile, other key customers such as those in the manufacturing and metal industries saw a decrease in demand for their product.
