The walk is held to raise lifesaving funds, honor survivors, and promote better heart health.
Global Green Farms
Volunteers worked on projects like sorting seeds, weeds, drying garlic, and other light maintenance.
Meals from the Heartland
60 volunteers packaged nearly 25,000 meals to be distributed to hungry people all over the Midwest.
Food Bank Transportation
Ruan transported over 60,000 meals for children in schools for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
Des Moines Community Playhouse
Volunteers helped construct different set and large prop pieces for upcoming plays!
Thanksgiving Meal Preperation
The kits included an entire meal, plus a gift card for a turkey, for over 265 families in need.
Food Bank Meal Packing
Volunteers packed oatmeal adding up to over 47,000 individual packets to stock in food pantries.
Sandwiches that Save
Volunteers came together to make 300 sandwiches in support of YMCA Supportive Housing Campus.
Toy Donations
Our Greensboro, NC, team donated toys to six families in need through the Salvation Army.
Clothing Closet
Ruan volunteers helped accept, sort, and straighten donations of clothing, shoes, books, and more.
