Our truck drivers are at the very core of our business, and we are thankful for the role they play in serving our customers and advancing our country’s supply chains. For this reason, we proudly recognize our safest and most distinguished professional drivers each year as part of our Driver of the Year program.
Our Driver of the Year program is an important way to recognize exemplary driving performance at the operational, regional, and national levels within our organization. Operations-level nominations were submitted earlier this year, and we are pleased to announce the names of those 149 professional drivers who have earned the title of 2023 Driver of the year Finalist.
Later this month, we will announce the names of 12 finalists selected by their vice presidents of operations as Winners’ Circle honorees, who will travel to our headquarters in Des Moines, IA, in September for our annual Driver and Operation of the Year events. Ruan’s senior leaders will select our 2023 Driver of the Year from the Winners’ Circle, and the announcement will be made at a special ceremony at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates on September 26.
