Ruan was recently recognized as one of the safest carriers in the state at the Iowa Motor Truck Association’s annual Management Conference.
“The objective of this annual safety program is to highlight the companies and individuals in the state of Iowa that have demonstrated the dedication required to make safety a number one priority within their company. It is because of that tremendous dedication that the Iowa Motor Truck Association is always very honored to showcase these outstanding companies,” said Brenda Neville, president of the Iowa Motor Truck Association.
Since 1950, the Iowa Motor Truck Association has recognized Iowa carriers and drivers for their outstanding dedication to the trucking industry. This recognition program is an integral part in working toward decreasing, and eventually eliminating, all accidents.
In Iowa alone, the trucking industry employs 98,540 people, or every one in 13 jobs in the state. Drivers and professional employees of every trucking company work endlessly to ensure that the goods consumers rely on every day in our communities are delivered safely.
The Iowa Motor Truck Association and Great West Casualty Company are honored to sponsor the Fleet Safety Awards Program.
