We are pleased to share with you our 2018 Operation of the Year Finalists selected by vice presidents of operations as the top performers in their business units. From these 12 finalists, our senior leadership team further narrowed the group to a Winners’ Circle of three honorees, and the leaders of our Winners’ Circle operations will be honored in July at our annual Founder’s Days Celebration. There, we will announce the 2018 Operation of the Year.
Each day, Ruan’s operational team members work to safely and efficiently deliver our customers’ products. They carry out this complex and difficult assignment with professionalism and dedication, especially considering the incredibly dynamic industry and environment in which they operate. Our Operation of the Year program recognizes our operations’ outstanding performance in demonstrating our Guiding Principles in the areas of customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and innovation, exceptional performance, and commitment to our Megasafe culture.
While our Operation of the Year program originally only recognized our operations serving Dedicated Contract Transportation customers, we now include our Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) operations, too. These teams provide an array of non-asset services such as warehousing, managed transportation, and brokerage, among many others. Our SCS teams play a critical role in allowing Ruan to achieve our Strategic Priority to create enduring partnerships that deliver mutual value by providing Integrated Solutions to our valued customers.
We are proud of each of these operations for fostering a Great Place to Work culture, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and committing to exceptional safety performance.
