About the Job

Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Greensboro, NC, to haul grocery product in refrigerated trailers for our growing, dedicated customer, Publix. This position will be a regional position operating newer equipment. For more information, please call our Driver Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

 

Pay

Earn an average $90,000 per year, $0.60 per mile, $16.25 per stop, $31.50 per diem for each night you're away from your home domicile, and $20 per hour for detention.

Schedule

Regional drivers will making deliveries to Publix stores and distribution centers within South Carolina (Charleston and Beach Points), Virginia and possibly Georgia and North Carolina. Drivers will be running over the weekend with a mid-week 34 HR reset. 

Equipment

This position will operate sleepers and pull refrigerated units and dry vans.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
