The Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) SuperTech competition, held September 15-16 at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina, was part of the American Trucking Associations’ TMC National Technician Skills Competition. On day one, technicians take a three-part written exam. Once completed, all qualifying technicians move on to the Hands-on Skills Challenge on day two. For the Hands-on Skills portion, competitors demonstrate their skills and expertise in a various maintenance tracks. Once completed, an awards ceremony was held to recognize all the competitors’ hard work at this year’s competition.
“I am extremely proud of our competitors who made the trip to Raleigh and showcased their skills at the top competition in the country. It was an honor to see each of them in their element, hands-on and focused at each station and question in the competition as they were challenged on all aspects of heavy-duty truck and trailer repair.” said our Maintenance Operations Leader, Benjamin Steines. “Attending TMC’s SuperTech Competition is a great way to show support for our technicians and highlight their skills at a first-class competition and a great venue. Thank you to all of our technicians who participated in our Top Tech Competition program earlier this year, very well done!”
Congratulations to our participants, and thank you for all you do to keep America running!
